The Department of Medical Imaging at PRHC is currently recruiting a fellowship-trained Vascular Interventional Radiologist (IR) for a full time permanent position. The successful candidate will join a group of 19 Radiologists, and practice in a facility with 2 well- equipped state of the art interventional suites. PRHC is the vascular centre for the LHIN, with a busy vascular practice a broad range of additional procedures are preformed, including biopsies, GU, GI, dialysis and biliary interventions.

Position Profile: The Department of Imaging in Regina, Saskatchewan is a busy, dynamic radiology group and provider of high-quality radiology interpretations to two tertiary care centers and multiple peripheral sites. The successful candidate will join the existing team of 3 Interventional Radiologists.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) to practice in Saskatchewan. It is an expectation that the candidate would have completed 1-year fellowship in Interventional Radiology and will be proficient in General vascular procedures and Interventional Oncology. Preference will be given to candidates with RCPSC designation in Interventional Radiology.
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to the provision of high-quality patient and family-centered care.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Imaging in the Regina Area and will be appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Imaging at the University of Saskatchewan.
