The Grand Slams & Catastrophes 2026 will apply for an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada to be approved by the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR).
The Grand Slams & Catastrophes 2026 will apply to be approved for Category “A” credits by the CAMRT and recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). This CE activity may be available in multiple formats or from different CE sponsors. ARRT does not allow self-learning activities to be repeated for CE credit in the same CE biennium.

Charles (Chuck) Ray, MD, PhD
Interim Chair, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, University of Utah Health
Charles (Chuck) Ray, MD, PhD, has been named Interim Chair of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah, effective September 8. He will also continue in a clinical role in interventional radiology and in his role as Editor for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Chuck succeeds Satoshi Minoshima, MD, PhD, who led the department over a decade.
Ray is a nationally recognized leader in academic radiology. Since joining U of U Health in 2024, he has been deeply involved in strengthening the department’s clinical programs, research, and educational mission. Before coming to Utah, Ray served as Chair of Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, where he also held senior leadership roles, including Interim Executive Dean of the College of Medicine and Associate Chief Executive Officer for Strategic Alignment at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System.
