The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee of RFS Section for the Canadian Association of Interventional Radiology (CAIR) is thrilled to invite you to the first talk of an inspiring speaker series. The event is perfect for medical students, residents, and physicians interested in exploring the intersection of interventional radiology and entrepreneurship.
This event will feature two visionary leaders in interventional radiology who have successfully pioneered innovative solutions, founded multiple companies and inspired a new generation of physician-entrepreneurs. The event will feature a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session where attendees can put forth any questions of interest.
Dr. Kieran Murphy – Professor, Department of Medical Imaging, University of Toronto
Dr. Murphy is a globally recognized interventional radiologist and entrepreneur. Renowned for his groundbreaking work in neurointervention, Dr. Murphy has also founded and collaborated with multiple startups, developing cutting-edge medical devices and technologies.
Dr. Robert Abraham – Professor, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Dalhousie University
Dr. Abraham is a leader in interventional oncology and an accomplished entrepreneur. With a track record of founding and advising successful medical companies, his expertise lies in translating clinical needs into practical, market-ready solutions.
