Chair: Tiffany Ni

Tiffany Ni (she/her) is a second-year diagnostic radiology resident at the University of Toronto and the current Chair of the CAIR Resident, Fellow & Student (RFS) Section. Over the past three years, she has served as an institutional representative, then led the Radiation Safety Committee, and now serves as Chair of the CAIR RFS.Tiffany is passionate about growing the RFS community and bringing this cutting-edge specialty to trainees across Canada—making IR more accessible by expanding mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and clear pathways into the field. She’s especially interested in showcasing the many ways to get involved in IR—clinical work, research, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and more—and hopes trainees connect with one (or more) of the exciting initiatives the RFS offers. She ultimately plans to pursue fellowship training in interventional radiology! Outside of work, she loves hiking, trying new workout classes, brunch, and doting on her tuxedo cat. |

Vice-Chair: Sabreena Moosa

| Sabreena is a 3rd-year radiology resident at the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and medical school at McMaster University. Through her involvement with CAIR RFS over the past couple of years, she has had the opportunity to collaborate on projects in radiation safety, mentorship, and education. She especially values the incredible RFS community and the chance to collaborate with trainees across Canada. As Vice Chair, she looks forward to working with the RFS members, building on these initiatives, and strengthening the community further. In addition to radiology, she enjoys traveling, spin classes, and is currently trying to get better at volleyball. |

Chloe is currently a PGY2 radiology resident at Queen’s University. She previously completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Computer Science at Queen’s, specializing in computer assisted surgery and computational image analysis which initially sparked her interest in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. She has been a member of the CAIR RFS for the past 4 years as a medical student as is excited to continue to contribute as a resident. Outside of radiology, Chloe races as a competitive cyclist and enjoys cross country skiing, trail running, reading, and painting. |

| Vaneeza is a third-year medical student at the University of Calgary, after completing her undergraduate degree in neuroscience, physiology, and biology at the University of Toronto. She is excited to contribute to the CAIR committee and deepen her understanding of interventional radiology while collaborating with others in the field. This is her second year as part of the CAIR RFS, and she looks forward to connecting medical students with the interventional radiology community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and exploring new coffee shops. |

Katie Harris is a PGY3 Radiology Resident at the University of Toronto. She’s been a member of CAIR since she was a medical student, and was immediately drawn to the innovative potential of interventional radiology. She had a background in Aerospace Medicine, and is excited by the broad applicability of IR on this planet and beyond! She’s looking forward to working with the RFS this year to promote the excellent IR training opportunities in Canada. Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, she loves to sail, ski and train for triathlons in her spare time. |

| Dan is an MS3 at the University of British Columbia and is completing an integrated community clerkship in the Comox Valley. Prior to medical school, he completed his undergraduate in a Bachelor of Business Administration and worked for the BC Government in emergency management. This is his first year as a committee lead and will be his second year with CAIR RFS. In his free time, he enjoys various outdoor activities including mountain biking, trail running, and fishing. |

Dany has been an active member of the CAIR Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) since 2021 and is honored to lead the Safety, Technology and Innovation portfolio in the upcoming year. Currently in his first year as a diagnostic radiology resident at l’Université de Montréal, Dany brings a strong background in healthcare. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at l’Université de Montréal in 2006, followed by a degree in Osteopathy from the Collège d’études Ostéopathiques de Montréal in 2015. Outside of medicine, Dany leads an active lifestyle and enjoys biking, hiking, and running with his wife and their three dogs. |

| Rushali is a first-year Diagnostic Radiology resident at the University of Toronto. She has been actively involved with the CAIR Resident, Fellow and Student (RFS) section for three years with the Radiation Safety subcommittee, Virtual Angio Club subcommittee, and the Women in IR subcommittee.This year, Rushali is excited to take on the role of Radiation Subcommittee Co-Lead with Prisca Hsu. Over the past year, she has led multiple projects including creating radiation safety infographics and presenting radiation safety educational exhibits at national conferences as well as collaborating with colleagues in various research projects. As Co-Lead, Rushali will focus on increasing outreach to trainees and awareness of radiation safety in the IR suite through new research and educational projects. In her spare time, Rushali likes to play the piano, solve escape rooms, and create new home-made icecream flavours. |

| Prisca is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto. Originally from Vancouver, she completed her BSc in Neuroscience at Western University, and her MSc at the University of Toronto. During her master’s, she worked with MEG and MRI, sparking her interest in radiology. Combined with her interest in minimally invasive procedures, this naturally drew her toward interventional radiology. This year, she is excited to be co-leading the Radiation Safety Committee to promote education around radiation safety for trainees exploring IR. Outside of school, Prisca is a classically trained pianist, an aspiring pilates princess, and someone who’s always down for a spontaneous trip. She also loves spin class (because she’s too scared to bike the Toronto streets) and learns all the latest hits while spinning! |

Katie Harris is a PGY3 Radiology Resident at the University of Toronto. Dr. Helena Bentley is a PGY-6 interventional radiology resident at the University of Toronto. Dr. Bentley previously served as the inaugural Chair of the Canadian Association of Radiologists Resident and Fellow Section Education Committee and she has served on the Radiographics Trainee Editorial Board. She is passionate about medical education, quality of care, health policy, and healthcare resource allocation. |

| Ahsas is currently a PGY1 in Diagnostic Radiology at Queen’s University. He previously completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario and medical school at the University of Ottawa. His keen interest in diagnostic imaging, procedures, and groundbreaking technology in medicine led to his interest in joining CAIR. Throughout his undergraduate degree and medical school, he has been involved in various entrepreneurship endeavors including most recently a brain computer interface startup. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, travelling, tennis, and binge-watching Youtube. As a returning co-lead of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee, he hopes to implement new and exciting programs for CAIR RFS members to gain knowledge and skills in innovation. |

| Maliha is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Toronto. She previously completed her MEng in Industrial Engineering, specializing in healthcare applications, at the University of Toronto, and later worked at Johns Hopkins developing AI solutions in medical imaging. Through this work, she discovered a passion for harnessing AI to improve efficiency in healthcare systems and enhance clinical outcomes—an interest that inspired her ongoing commitment to advancing innovation in interventional radiology. Outside of medicine, Maliha enjoys spending time with her geriatric cat, Moogie, along with reading thrillers and magical realism novels, practicing blackletter calligraphy, and collecting fountain pens. She is eager to be working with the CAIR Entrepreneurship Committee and the RFS team to create exciting initiatives for the CAIR members. |

Justin is a second-year medical student at the University of Alberta. Prior to medicine, he completed his undergraduate degree in General Science at the UofA. Over the past year with CAIR RFS, Justin has had the opportunity to work on many initiatives focused on education and outreach. As the Portfolio Lead of Outreach and Communications, he is excited to integrate outreach through the website and social media and enable IR mentorship! In his fair time, Justin enjoys playing chess, flying, and working with the local air cadet program. |

Jay is a third-year medical student at the University of British Columbia, with an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences from Western University. He has been actively involved in radiology research, with projects spanning emergency radiology, anterior skull base imaging, and cardiac imaging, including interventional techniques. Through these experiences, Jay has collaborated with clinicians and researchers on initiatives aimed at advancing imaging methods and improving clinical outcomes. With CAIR RFS, he is excited to build on this foundation by supporting learners across Canada. He hopes to leverage social media as a tool to educate students about Interventional Radiology and to showcase the wide range of procedures that can positively impact patient care. Outside of medicine, Jay enjoys weight training, running, and exploring Vancouver’s outdoor spaces. |

| Alameen is a third year resident doctor at the University of Toronto’s Radiology program. He completed his medical school at the University of Ottawa and his undergraduate degree at McMaster. He is passionate about advancing mentorship in medicine and is also the mentorship lead at UofT’s radiology program. He hopes to continue building on the strong sense of community in the interventional radiology field and further strengthen the mentorship opportunities for trainees. Outside of medicine he spends his time at the gym with weightlifting, sports and martial arts. |

| Jen is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Western Ontario. Prior to medicine, she completed an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These experiences sparked an interest in the intersection of medicine and technology, further explored by participating in medical hackathons. Naturally, she was drawn to interventional radiology, a field at the crossroads of multiple specialties and defined by constant innovation. Outside of the hospital, Jen enjoys playing volleyball, learning about art history, and organizing themed gatherings. As committee lead, she hopes to build a strong network of mentorship among Canadian interventional radiologists at all stages of their careers, fostering connection, guidance, and future collaboration. |
